I wondered whether anyone on here who takes Amitriptyline has also suffered with nasal congestion. I've read that it can be a common side effect of Amitriptyline. I'm very congested at the moment and on Antibiotics and a nasal spray to clear it. My doctor is going down the lines of something called Allergic Rhinitis. I've stopped taking Amitriptyline for the moment as a trial to see if it helps. I've been suffering with nasal congestion on and off for a while. Amitriptyline is what I've been taking the longest. If anyone has suffered with it, it would be good to know. It's horrid. Nerve pain I can put up with. Not being able to breathe, I can't 😔
