I got on the STREAMS trial but then my mesenchymal cells didn't grow :( so no, it never happened. I've chatted to a couple of people that have had HSCT and it seems to have worked well, but it costs and has fairly big risks attached. The last I heard was that there's a 3 year waiting list in Russia - there's groups on facebook etc. - that might be helpful too in finding people. After my experience, I have to admit that even if I won the lottery, I'd want to hang fire til they knew a bit more about stemcell treatments -that's totally personal tho. Sonia x
