Double vision!

Hi, I have RRMS and over the past few days have double vision again! My optician can only refit a glass lens rather than provide the temporary stick-on prisms and its going to take several weeks for a referral to the orthoptics team - does anyone have any tips other than covering one of my lenses and going pirate-style?! Thanks!

I had double vision for a few weeks back in February, unfortunately that’s the only thing they suggested to me was either a prism or covering your eye. I would stick with the prism for now until it corrects itself I know it’s frustrating but it will get better in time, even speaking with one of the ms specialists and see if there’s any medication like steroids that could help unfortunately with double vision in ms there’s only so much they can do.

Thanks - unfortunately my last prism is no longer the right refraction so I don't have one at the minute, I'm covering my eye like a pirate!
