Hi, just really curious at the minute while waiting for diagnosis. What treatments are offered for MS? Or does it depend what ‘kind’ you have? Xx

@Staceyc No, but you may be restricted to what DMT (disease modifying therapy) is offered because of where you live and what your local NHS can afford. You will be asked to make a choice, but please remember you are allowed to change your mind. You will need to give your choice of DMT at least six months before you see any effects, and if you feel that you aren't responding to the DMT then get it changed. May I suggest you check out Dr Aaron Boster, an American neurologist who posts videos on YouTube. He has done a couple of videos which cover the DMTs available for MS and how effective they are in treating MS. That might help you make a decision when offered your treatment.
