Migraine

Hey Everyone! I’m asking because I am in desperate desperate need of some help. I have been having a migraine from hell since 3 AM this morning, it is now 9:30 PM. I have not had this bad of a migraine and a little bit to the point where I have literally just been lying in bed all day in a dark room. This is my first time even being on my phone because the light is even too much for me. Anyways, I wanted to ask are migraines part of MS? I am currently looking up different chronic pain management in my area. I do have a doctor that I see who prescribes my meds, but I’m just getting to the point where everything is just feeling as it is “failing” in terms of pain.

Hey, sorry to hear this, I had a similar experience but I put it down to my ms medication - plegridy. It was the worst headache of my life and I timed it, it lasted 27 hours and when it ended I cried with relief. It will end, make sure you're drinking plenty of water and allowing yourself to rest and relax. Painkillers may not do anything at all, time will elapse and you will start to feel better. Sending you hope that it will end soon.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Yes, migraines can be part of ms. My doc has prescribed me ubrelvy for mine. I take a pill at the start of a headache, and it helps. Sometimes, I have to take 2. But it really does help. I’m hope you can get something that will help you.
