Tecfidera bloods

My Tecfidera bloods are done by my gp and as far as I know my neuro hasn't even seen them and fails to ask for them for years now,Completely incompetent. My issues is because my gp is doing this will he know what to look out for? Congnativley I have been getting alot worse on Tecfidera.Im worried and have no MS support I am in tayside scotland.Also I have a copy of my blood results but have no idea about any of it,What needs to be monitored while on tec?

Hi Shona your bloods get monitored for your blood count if it goes below a certain level it's unsafe for tec also they check your kidney function I was told u won't hear from them unless there is an issue Hope this helps

Thanks they don't even put a request out for them every 3 months and I have just read through the results and my ly is low 1.4 and kidneys are estimated gt60 witch is well bellow the normal range. They haven't reported any of this to me as I requested a copy of the blood results from the gp.!! x
