Carpal tunnel flare from crutches
I suffer with carpal tunnel syndrome (had carpal tunnel release on my left hand in 2021) but I'd managed to get my right wrist under control but now I'm using crutches all the time when I leave the house my wrists are hurting again and the numbness etc is returning, any advice?
I've got padding on my crutches and padded gloves. I started doing cold therapy a couple of days ago when I get in with refreezable cold packs.
Please anything anyone can recommend I'd be grateful! I really don't want to go for the surgery again it was horrific!
I have same problem. Have you tried the special crutches with a softer handle? They have a german name, will check mine as am sure they're written on them
