Medical exemption certificate anyone ?

Hi there, has anyone applied for or has successfully got a medical exemption certificate for the covid 19 vaccines ? Please pm me if you can! Kindest regards and happy new year everyone, #fightms

@Lucy244 sorry to hear you feel unsure about vaccinations. For some, it might feel scary to receive a drug that is relatively "new"; however, compared to the MS medications most of us take, these vaccines have been widely taken by billions (!) of persons (healthy or not) and are the most closely watched drugs on the market. 👍 All MS societies across the world concur that the vaccination is safe and encourage all persons living with MS to get vaccinated. 🙂 The only valid exception from vaccination on medical grounds is a serious PEG allergy: PEG is a substance in the vaccine. This is extremely rare. If a doctor would offer a medical exception certificate, s/he could be sued for malpractice. The vaccine is really this safe. I would love to hear about your particular concerns. All best, S.

At the moment there is not one person in the world who can say that any of these covid shots have a potential to cause a relapse. Those studies are to be completed in 2023. While the ms societies promote getting the vaccine with out having that information, one is left to decide what the bigger risk is covid or the shot. Personally I am waiting for that study completion but cannot get an exemption from the government as there is basically no excempttions allowed.
