Nerve pain recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for managing/ helping with pain? I’ve had nerve pain in my hand for seven months. It’s not carpal tunnel and I have new lesions on my spine which seem to be the cause. All well and good but what the hell do I do to reduce / manage it?? Amitriptyline isn’t really helping. Any recommendations? Thank you. X

Hi @Gem1 I take gabapentin specifically for nerve pain, which I got initially by chatting with my MS nurse and then it was popped on a repeat prescription. It's generally titrated until you find the dosage that works for you. Mine's now 900mg daily taken in three 300mg capsules three times a day. My advice would be to chat to your MS nurse and see what they recommend x

I had nerve pain in my left thigh for December 2022. Started taking cpd oil in much. Pain slowly dissipated and now have no pain at all .
