Modafanil - how do you cope with....

I am on the lowest dosage of modafanil and love it BUT... my brain is on rocket fuel and my cognition is superb now, the physical fatigue has not turned around as significantly so I now struggle with my brain wanting to do a million things and my body can't keep up with it!!! Anyone else feel like this and how do you cope??? Am also finding it hard to switch off on a night as mind is racing-i take the tablet first thing in a morning and never later in the day and i write down things that pop in the head at night so thinking about it playing on my mind doesn't happen but its difficult to switch off. If i've been involved in an activity in the day and by the afternoon my body is ready to drop but its like my mind has to come down from a high before i can sleep no matter how physically knacked I am its like my brain is wired so i try all relaxation techniques - i s'pose its a nice problem to have BUT does get very frustrating as if i overdo it i pay for it so have to keep it in check somehow - any tips how would be much appreciated x

Hi Been on it for a couple of months and its fab but as with you my body cant keep up with my mind. My trick is not taking the full tablet. Half lets me cope with the day and sleep at night. Last time i took the full tablet i was still us at 3AM

@f3ng5hu1

I've heard a bit about this one but only sketchy things. Can you explain more about what it is and what form it takes (ie tablet/injection) how often it's taken and dosage please. Would be interesting and help me weigh my options for dmd's. Thanks
