Tecfidera and child-bearing?

There’s quite a bit of literature online for this, and I will be talking to me doctor of course. But as I am on Tecfidera, I was hoping one of you on my team would have a word for me in regard to taking the medication while A) trying to conceive B) while breastfeeding. I know you don’t take the medication when pregnant. Just curious if you’ve ever encountered pregnancy while on Tecfidera!! Thank you!!!

@jeslyn_mauriello , it isn't recommended. You should stop Tecfidera in advance of trying for conception. The problem is that there isn't a great deal of data available on conceiving through to breast feeding and beyond, whilst on Tecfidera, until someone does it inadvertently. The they have to feedback details of problems, etc., to the drug manufacturers. There's too much possible heartache involved in taking a risk.............
