Sativex

Hello . The above medication has now become available. Does anyone know where to buy it privately my brother has the progressive type of MS which affects his legs because of this he cannot walk without falling over . We have been reading about this medication and he would like to give it a try . He is willing to pay for it himself as he has had to turn jobs down because of his legs he know how much it costs and after that if it didn’t work for him he has lost nothing. I have heard that it can be bought In a private clinic
But it doesn’t say where. If anyone knows where it can be bought could you please let me know as he is desperate to try it.
Many thanks in advance
Hilary

You’ll have to speak to the nuero.
This link will explain how to go about it.

I was told that the Gp can prescribe it on a private prescription?

@hilaryk0757
Not sure about how you do that but you can now get it through the NHS for free if your brother meets the criteria.
The rules changed yesterday.
So give them a call. They might be able to help.
Wish you luck.
