Recovering from Fatigue

I’m new to this MS lark - what a ball this is!!! Yesterday I had a fatigue episode (sometimes they last days, other times just hours), you know the type, where you can barely move or think! Fortunately a good nights sleep appears to have shifted the worse this time but no matter how long the episode is, I’m left feeling drained and dizzy for a few days. I’m a very healthy eater so will up my fruit/veg intake and will have a lovely cup of high flavonoids hot chocolate in a short while but does anyone have any tips that work. I know I’m looking for the magic wand but I have to ask, just in case!

@cakeangie , now, that's the $64,000 question! All we can do is "listen to our body" and rest when the need arises. It's all about management, although there maybe something here which may help :- https://support.mstrust.org.uk/file/Living-with-fatigue-2018.pdf

@grandma

Hi @cakeangie, each of us is different and you will discover in time what works for you be it 1/2 an hr cleaning at a time before you have a sit down, long sleep in the afternoon if you are going out that night, whatever floats your boat, but as Stumbler says, listen to your body, it doesn't lie🥊👂😜
