Hi – I had a similar experience, it’s pretty daunting.

I was fortunate to be able to see a local disability living advice service (called possibility people/the fed, in brighton) who were able to guide me in answering the many questions on the form, and also what frame of mind I should be answering in.

A positive outlook in response to these questionnaires will not help you in the long run.

Hopefully you’ll be able to locate a similar service near to where you are.

They were also helpful when I appealed the original award, and eventually got my higher rate reinstated.

Good luck!

A friend recommended Mencap or Citizens Advice Bureau. I managed to fill in my Review form but still awaiting decision. If they refuse me then I will try one of those services. Just don’t know how long it takes them to reply. Sent my form 1st Class Recorded so I know they got it a month ago.

Hi, I recently had my PIP assessment, was unfortunately I was downgraded for mobility. I would recommend going to Citizens Advie, the lady I saw was very knowledgeable and will be helping me with my tribunal. Hope this helps

I just received PIP from. I called first to find out some information. but the lady on the phone was extremely rude. as she did spell my name wrong, so I told her that. so she told me “dont force me to raise me voice”
how come that people can be so rude. I believe it will be very difficult to complete this form as I am polish and at the moment I am struggle with million things with my very new MS. as I’ve been diagnosed two months ago. and still trying to find out what to do.
but thank for advice to get help from citizen advice.
wish you all the best 🙂
