Neck pain

HI ALL l have very bad neck pain getting worse in the last year it is a deep heaviness at the base of my kneck going up in to my skull.Its nearly indescribable it hurts it's relentless it always there. Some days it feels like I can't carry my neck on my shoulders my Neuro says it's ms related I have had many steroid injections in to it and acupuncture but it always comes back. Has any body got this ? Thank you Mary dev

@mary_devereux , I can't find anything about desparte back pain - is there a typo in it? Have you been referred to a Neuro Physio to assess you? And, have you considered a Chiropractor?

I have something not the same but similar an ache/pain in the base of my skull/neck it’s like a tensing of a muscle there that tightens and I feel like It hurts to hold my head up straight. I have to lie down for hours when this happens. It can last for days my neuro thinks it may be related to the lesion I have at C7 which I believe is in the neck. It’s painful but I wouldn’t say I was in unbearable pain x
