Post treatment blues!
How does everyone feel (physically and emotionally!) after treatment?? I'm on the Subcutaneous Ocrevus injection every 6 months, and just had my third dose. I'm so tired, and feeling so fed up and emotionally drained.. it's like I can forget my MS for 5 months,then I get hit with this and it all comes flooding back!
What does everyone do to cheer themselves up when it gets too much?!
I was on Ocrevus for 4 years, and the crap gap just kept increasing, over time. Crap gap is two to four weeks, before and after the Ocrevus infusion. My entire body would start showing its worst MS deficits, and the pain and confusion would max out. Several times my Optic Neuritis flared horribly, and I ended up on the strong steroids to calm everything down. I still really enjoyed having months of minimal symptoms, so I kept going for a while on it, until I decided to try Kesimpta. I was on Kesimpta for a couple years, until insurance company stopped covering it. I am about to start BRIUMVI. They claim to have fixed the “crap gap” and it is a twice a year infusion, as well. Supposed to be a much shorter infusion, like Tysabri (one hour.)
