Heat sensation

Hi All! New to the MS club, just diagnosed in March so this is my first post! I'm just wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks for a new sensation I've been having.. the skin on one side of my body feels "warm", even though it isn't hot to touch! MS team have said its just sensory so doesnt need treatment, and obviously this isn't major (in the grand scheme of things!) but it's uncomfortable - especially in my feet 😕 Anything you've been able to do that helps??

This is a list my neurologist gave me when I told her about a burning feeling on my leg like that. Topical products: Lidocaine cream 1% - 2%: can be applied to symptomatic areas several times per day. Wear gloves while applying this. Capsaicin cream: made from chili peppers. This cream burns and can be painful when first applied, but overwhelms the pain fibers which lessens the nerve pain. Wear gloves when applying this. Vick's Vapor Rub: contains camphor, eucalyptus oil, and menthol. Commonly used for nasal congestion, but can lessen nerve pain when applied to the affected areas. CBD cream or CBD oil: made from cannabis, but does not require a medical cannabis license to be bought over-the-counter. Data supporting the use of CBD cream for nerve pain is lacking, but some people have found it helpful. Pills: Alpha lipoic acid 600 mg daily: there is research data to suggest possible benefit with neuropathic pain. No major side effects, but a small number of patients have reported upset stomach while taking this. If 600 mg daily does not provide relief, the dose can be increased to 1200 mg daily. Acetyl-L-carnitine 1000 mg 3 times daily: there is data backing its use for nerve pain from diabetes, chemotherapy, and HIV. No major side effects, but a small number have patients have reported upset stomach while taking this, so try to take it with food. Fish Oil : animal models suggest that this can improve neuropathic pain and stimulate nerve growth. It has been shown to be beneficial in humans with type 1 diabetes and neuropathy. Vitamin B complex
