Working

Hey everyone 👋 I'm recently diagnosed, but have likely has RRMS for about 7 years or so. My symptoms have gotten worse, which is what lead to diagnosis. Work has become increasingly difficult. Not only am I dizzy a lot, but I feel like I'm being shocked, my hands and feet feel asleep..and this has all taken a toll on my mental health as well.. How did you all transition from full time work? I'm considering asking my boss if I can go part time, but I'm so afraid to give in. I feel like I'm letting it win? Any words of advice or encouragement would be appreciated. Thank you all!
@messy100

I asked and got my hours reduced just by one day. I do the work in less time but it helps me schedule appointments and has reduced my stress a lot.

@PoppyP

I reduced from full time to four days with 15 hours of that flex so I can work from home if needed and work when I am able. It is still a lot for me as similar to you in that recently diagnosed, but had issues for last 9/10 years. It is still the biggest contender of acceptance for me is working out what I can do. Good luck working it all out, keep us updated.
