@funnybank

i stick to a high protein low sugar diet. i have a diabetic mother and always thought my symptoms were brought on by very severe low blood sugar. i noticed how my lips and tongue would go completely numb then get pins and needles after i'd eaten then slowly return to normal. now things have progressed for me and i have had a few big relapses i become very confused and shaky, my eyes get terrible and the neuropathic pain gets much worse if i don't control my blood sugar. when i'm having a relapse i have to be even more disciplined as my nervous system is suffering so much that even the slightest spikes of sugar and drops of low blood sugar make me a complete wreck and exhausted. i did read an article by a neurologist explaining how the nervous system and blood sugar levels work together. she thought that many of the symptoms of ms could be helped by reducing hypoglycaemia. sorry can't remember where i read it but hope this helps

Getting rid of all pulses (beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils) has helped me immensely. And cutting out all dairy products.
