steroids

Hi, After the MS episodes I have been having my MS nurse has decided to put my on a one off 5 days dosage of steroids. I have never taken steroids or medication before my MS but I had to take 5 tablets each 100 mg but when I got to the 4th tablet I was unable to keep them down. I was wondering if this is usual? Thanks

@cehoner , I think it's difficult to say what is usual and what is not when taking medications. We're all different and we respond differently. I have had steroids, both intravenous and oral, without much problem. Is your problem a physical one, where you just can't swallow consecutive tablets? Are you taking them with water, or have you tried a fruit juice? But, in any event, I'd discuss your situation with your MS Nurse.

Not sure if it is usual, but I have taken the oral steriods before and they are dam horrible, the taste, after affects etc etc Good luck
