I had a lumbar puncture on the 20th and have been dealing with this awful headache since then. Laying flat makes the pain go away completely, and ye I have been offered a dural patch procedure to try correct it but I've chosen to wait and see if it'll heal itself as I'm not into the idea of more needles to the spine. 😭 Is there anyone else out there who's been through the same (I bet there's loads of us!) and if yeah, how long did it take for this headache thing to decrease without the patch? I'm thinking about giving it till next tuesday, maybe thursday at the latest to heal on its own. If it doesn't get worse that is. I'm waiting on the results from the lumbar puncture, but my Dr did get back to me and let me know there's no bacterial infection or viruses in my spinal fluid which was nice!
