Pre-Diagnosis Question That’s Scaring Me

Pre-diagnosis, did anyone experience a progressive physical weakness and a general feeling of something is definitely wrong both mentally and physically but you can’t quite put a name to it & it’s a “I don’t feel good & I don’t know why” type of thing ? At times debilitating pain in the spine, wet with clear fluid in ears inside suddenly, blurred vision bad.

Yeah, @ShaneFlannigan , I remember sitting in my Doctor's office 5 years ago with my wife and saying to her "I hope we figure out what's going on, because I can't live like this anymore." My symptoms were similar, and the overall feeling of malaise was overwhelming. Thankfully I had a awesome practitioner that was able to help me mitigate many of my symptoms. It wasn't until 3 years later that we stumbled over a brain full of lesions and by then I was already feeling pretty darn good. A presumptive diagnosis of MS is creepy, but I think the important thing to remember is at the moment of your diagnosis you are still exactly the same person you were a second prior. Keep looking for ways to address your symptoms - there's no magic MS playbook. If you're fatigued or depressed check your hormones and have a sleep study done. The difference I noted after starting CPAP, modafinil, and thyroid hormones was HUGE! When I review all of the stuff I'm taking, none of it, with the exception of Ocrevus, is MS specific. When I consider Ocrevus doesn't fix anything, but just stops stuff from getting worse, I realized that even without my MS diagnosis, I would still be chasing the same symptom abatement protocols. Emm Ess. Those two words hold more power than they should. Don't let them rob you of the fun you deserve.

I had bad fatigue for like 8 months before I had my real first flare up that got me my diagnosis... so yeah I know the "I feel bad... mentally, physically.. and I can't really point the finger on it.. but something is wrong"
