In particular B cells!
Rituximab is being used in the states for PPMS, it targets B cells and re dosing is dependent on the patients CD19 %, if it climbs above 1% they redoee the patient (based on monthly blood work). This turns out to be approx every 4-6 months. This is also an add on option to Lemtrada to prevent the autoimmune side effects of thyroid disorder, ITP & Goodpastures. I personally have not decided to proceed with Ritux or not, my 6 month mark (when we would decide) comes up in October.
