Good morning ☀️

Is anyone on medication for fatigue? Does it help? I've been battling now for years and done everything the nurse said...doesn't work for me . I push through it as much as I can to get through my day but I'm tired of being tired now 🙄

"Tired of being tired" rings very true! I take amantadine once a day and it really helps, but i think for some people it has little or no effect. Got to be worth a try though. Like you say, i really had tried to help myself.as much as possible, pushing through, and trying to exercise to energise, but it's ok to need help xx

I'm on amantadine. I was on it for several years and it became ineffective. My neurologist took me off it so I wasn't on anything for fatigue for about a year and has slowly reintroduced me back on it. It doesn't work as effectively as it used to originally, but if I don't take it I really feel exhausted.

Try Modafinil. Amantadine did not work for me but Modafinil did for several years. Ask your Dr about Neuro based physical therapy. It broke my cycle of crushing fatigue allowing me to enjoy my time actually Doing things. If your Dr does not know about Neuro based physical therapy, ask them to find out. It is something that actually works to reroute around the brain damage caused by lesions. Good luck in the fight, please do not lose hope!❤

I'll ask my gp. But she's not great with ms at all! Her attitude stinks. I also have epilepsy too which makes things worse. I was taken off good pain meds because of it. Wondering if they will allow me fatigue meds now. Interesting about the diet though! I'll try that. Doesn't help that I'm on the go from 5am either but I love what I do, I just wish I could manage a bit better! Than for your advice 🥰
