Yes, I had this for a few weeks last year. I would check my clothes in case I'd brushed against something wet or spilt a nonexistent drink (?!) or whatever, but the clothes and skin were always completely dry. Thought I was utterly insane. Then it suddenly happened very frequently between my legs, at which point I was voluntarily housebound as I couldn't just pass it off as yet another sensory malfunction (in case it wasn't...!). It was this symptom (after a few others) that made my husband say, "This all sounds more like M.S. than M.E.," which got me to see the GP and she then started off the process of "ruling out" M.S. That was last May. Second MRI due next Weds... Sorry for waffling. Yes, I've had patches of skin that feel wet but aren't. You're not going mad!
