Bladder problems
Over the past few weeks I have noticed that when my bladder has a full and I am not near a toilet I have ended up wetting myself, this is something that has suddenly changed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help?

Hi, sorry to hear about your bladder problems. I swing between retention and frequency. I definitely would advise speaking to your MS team. I manage by using pads and regular toilet timing. I allow extra time on the toilet when having difficulty, or give up. I sometimes resign to the fact I may have to wake, or find a loo while out. Luckily, my bladder issues are still minor at the moment. Self catheterisation can help some. Especially if they have overactive bladders or tight urinary tract. I hope you can find something that works well 🤞.
@Daisy11 Sadly, the only advice I can give is a pee pad. Happens to me all the time. If you are going out for a long time, I would recommend the pant variety, as they hold a lot more liquid. The human bladder can hold around 1/2 pint of liquid. If you are going out but know you will be near a toilet, then I suggest the smaller pads. You could speak to your healthcare professionals and see if they can recommend anything else, or check on the MS charity websites as this is a common symptom of MS.
