Body temperature
Does anyone else find that they have no sense of temperature.
Whether it’s hot or cold.
I find myself not noticing as to whether the outside or room temperature is cold (winter in uk) just people are wrapped in in hats, gloves, thick coats etc then there’s me in shorts and tshirt often with a body warmer (more for storage of keys, phone etc) thinking it’s fine and not noticing the temp.
Just I often see about hot/cold sensitivity re MS but not seen about not noticing temperature at all.
Anyone able to relate
I have a super sensitivity to cool/cold temperatures. So, I have done a lot of reading about thermoregulation and MS impact on our bodies ability to keep itself cool and warm to the proper temp. I have never read anything that talked about total absence of temp awareness. But it sure sounds like it is in the MS-zone of possible symptoms. In short, I have no idea, but wonder if you may have a lesion at just the right {wrong} location to provide this type of response. I’d be curious to know if your doctor has info about this.
Hi, My body is similar. Although at the moment I'm not on Tecfidera anymore. Taking in the account MS is effecting our body to control the temperature, I had massive hot flashes and I was always getting red after taking DMT. In summer it was a nightmare. All the best x Alicja
