Homebirth or hospital for giving birth?

Hi! I'm currently pregnant with my second child and I have a question to all the mamas here with MS. Since my first birth was pretty traumatic for me, I want to have a homebirth for my second birth. Has any one here had one? My doctor doesn't want to give me a paper stating that my ms is not effecting the birth, even though she admitted that it doesn't... And the midwife I asked , said she can only provide homebirth if my neurologist signs of on it.... All the best Anastasia

If I have another baby I am 100% having a home birth, I am in the same boat, my experience with my OB was traumatic for me. I have had two kids and if I do have a third I will be choosing homebirth. Or AT LEAST midwife care with hospital birth if they won’t take me on because I’ll most likely be considered high risk again. That’s not fair of your doctor to be doing that I’d be looking for a new doctor asap who will support this and give you the birth you want.
