I have recently trialled fampridine which is a new drug being trialled to help with walking. If you are given the option by your neurologist, I would definitely recommend trying it. It has helped me so so much. I usually always hold on to things or use a walking aid but am now able to walk short distances without holding or using anything. I have also been told that my speech has improved a lot and is clearer. (I'm in Glasgow, Scotland)
