Who can you talk to.

I got diagnosed last year around July an the worse thing besides the flair ups is that I have no one to talk to that truly knows what is goin on. Trying to explain an talk to others just gets me agitated an I dont fault them for it but u have to be goin through what I am to really understand. I hope I can find others to talk to. I feel that will be difficult since I’m pretty much a to myself guy.

hi i am sorry to here what you are going through .dont worry about it you will find that you have to explain forever . i have found that some people who are very understanding at the start ,now after a year they think that you are better , even when i am much worse or they comstantly ask if you are ok ,even though you just have to carry on and get use to the new you .

@lamar_bowden , you need to get out and find your local MS community. I’m sure there will be one as MS is probably more prevalent than you think. You just don’t notice it as MS is an invisible condition.

So, get in contact with the local branch of the MS Society and see what’s available in your locality. There you’ll find other like-minded people, who do understand.

@lamar_bowden Morning. Not sure where in this world you live so tough to make any specific recommendations.

MSers – we walk amongst you. There will be local. People who get it, this forum is pretty on the ball, lovely bunch of folks.

Sign up for an MS Buddy on Shift.ms ? With WhatsApp etc the fact that your buddy doesn’t live locally to you but can be anywhere.

If you are in the US you definitely need Dr Aaron Boster’s YouTube channel. In fact, it is great for everyone.
