@tracey1980 indeed I have, usually it simply means that it wasn’t the correct antibiotic for the particular infection that you had/have. If your GP sent a sample of urine for analysis they should have a result by now which says which antibiotic is correct for your infection.
I would follow it up and get better treatment as the last thing you want (apart from the misery of a UTI) is for it to bring on a relapse.

Thanks I did see a doctor he said the uti has gone just felt niggly but he checked me over said I was good so hopefully on the mend. Started taking cranberry tablets hopefully might help

same here @tracey1982. Just been prescribed more antibiotics as it hasn’t completely gone away but before I start them I just started taking d mannose today, a simple sugar supplement which has been mentioned on here before to help with UTIs. I also do not like the consequences of antibiotics 😉 so I’ll do anything to avoid another course. 23 gallons of water and some D mannose. Fingers crossed!

Yeah think we are all guilty of not drinking enough water. Yes I’m the same do anything I can to stop a uti knocks you around so much
