Too many tablets!

I’ve recently relapsed and I am really struggling with pain/spasms and urine urgency.

I’m on plenty of tablets including pregablin and baclofen but I am experiencing such dizziness, my whole world is spinning as well as a loss of dexterity.

Has anybody else experienced this on any of these tablets?

@hlywln94 , have you just started any new tablets, which might be responsible for the dizziness? Pregabalin and Baclofen are the usual response to pain and spasm.

Here’s some details about Vertigo (dizziness), which suggests that your GP should be consulted, to rule out other causes:-

Don’t suffer bladder incontinence without talking to Continence Services/Urology. They can establish the underlying cause of your problem and suggest treatment/medication. Your MS Nurse may be able to arrange a referral for you.

@stumbler Long story, I came off pregablin a while ago and recently restarted it and I know it drops my blood pressure to the point of fainting but this is different, I’ve started them and baclofen together this time. My Ms nurse is referring me to the incontinence team, another appointment to add to the forever growing list.

Have never taken Gablopen but I have tried Baclofen. Had to stop taking it because I had severe vertigo anyway and it made me dizzy and I’m not fond of feeling like I’m seasick. It also causes your bladder to over react and I don’t need that either. I take Myrapex instead and it helps. Medical marijuana has been my best help for many symptoms. Took some getting used to but it’s been great. Much better than the Morphine they had me on. God Bless

@vick60
Thank you, possibly the baclofen then, I will raise this with my GP at my appointment on Friday. I have only recently considered marijuana for pain relief and I’m still a bit apprehensive, I have heard lots of positivity around it. How do you take the medical marijuana?

I started out vaping but a lot of that hurt my chest and a tickle in my throat. I am using tincture under the tongue. I still vape a little at night to help sleep. I was very skeptical at 1st but I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s a little pricy and my kids have been helping me. Once you find what works for you it levels out. Best wishes
