To those with Avonex experience

I took my first 1/4 dose yesterday around 6 pm. For awhile, I didnt feel anything. Around 5 hours later, I woke up with violent shaking chills, but managed to sleep off and on. A couple hours later, I woke up very nauseous and vomited a couple times. I went back to sleep, and when I woke up this morning, I felt good save for a few muscle aches. Has anyone had a similar experience? I know the chills are common, but havent seen vomiting as a side effect.

@laurianne25 You poor thing .when I got diagnosed last year i hear that avonex was a horrible side effect so i decided to go with copaxone injections so far so good x hope you feel better soon x shirley x

@shelley44 thank you. I'm glad you're having a good experience on Copaxone, I was on it for 2 months then had an allergic reaction so I had to stop. Avonex is my 2nd DMT.
