Ocrevus

Can I just have some clarity.... if we are on Ocrevus does this put us the weakend immune system catagory that the isolation guidelines that the government has issued? I have a big 3 day wedding to go to this week and don't know if I should cancel? Can anyone give me some advise?
@Ebony_Healy

I’m on ocrevus too and i’ve been doing a lot of digging. The (UK) government’s guidelines on social distancing have listed people with MS as being under the more vulnerable category: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults Dr Boster also talks about Ocrevus and risk with respect to corona virus in this video: https://youtu.be/b0UtZRPeOO0 He basically just says that Ocrevus probably puts people at a little higher risk of having a more severe reaction if infected with the virus, due to the fact it’s an immunosuppressant. I’m taking the view that i fall under the more vulnerable category, therefore i’m going to be social distancing as much as possible... However i’m not medical professional, so i will try to speak with my MS nurse this week.

@ebony_healy thanks for the information. It's difficult as I am a self employed barber too so am in super close contact with people, but with being self employed I want to try and work as much as I can before I defintely should stop. Iv emailed my nurse to try and get some advice as I keep hearing a mixture of information.
