Ocrevus

I have been taking this IV chemo drug for almost a year now, and have had styes, acne and a wicked rash on my belly. Given the side effects from the other medication I have tried, I have been putting up with these, but no Dr. believes me when I say that they are a side effect of Ocrevus…”Oh, you must have always had this…..it’s normal”! Has anyone experienced this?

@greasycanadian , you might want to show your Doctors the Patient Information Leaflet for Ocrevus.

The side-effects make interesting reading :-

Thank you, stumbler! This is a bit more than what is disseminated here in the US! Interesting!

emc is a great website i think as it lists side effects which are often not given in the drug companies information sheets; and even MS specialists often don’t seem to know about them. I have referred MS nurses to it previously and asked them why they don’t know about this evidence based information website!
Information is power 😉
hope you’re feeling better now

@dinnerlady , as has been said before, we’re all different.

But, it’s too soon to make a judgement, so have the full dose and see how things pan out.
