I think I had COVID19

Three weeks ago I had a fever, sore throat and runny nose. Then I had a very dry cough and a headache which lasted for two weeks. Now I know these are some of the symptoms of the corona virus but I'm not really sure that it was. At that time the disease was not considered a pandemic and I knew little about the symptoms or what I should do. Can I know if I it was the corona virus if I get tested?

@amala Whilst nothing is impossible it is very unlikely. I say this because the cases three weeks ago were all attended to in a 1:1 fashion because the initial confirmed cases were identified and, more importantly, their contacts and travel history will have been gone through with a fine tooth comb. If you had been to a high risk area like Wuhan province, Tehran, Northern Italy you will have found yourself to be the subject of much government attention! If you did have it and you are ok now then, a - you are very lucky, and b - there will be no need for you to interact with the health service. Nothing will be gained by testing at all apart from taking the time of professionals and the use of a test kit away from someone who will be in dire need of it. If you think you may have had it then it is incumbent upon you to make a full list of absolutely everyone you had contact with so they can be v aware to monitor themselves for the signs. Agaun, all covered in the government advice. If you have immunity then you'll be a fantastic resource for friends/family/community as as long as you self-isolate very strictly to avoid any further transmission then you can be the link to do shopping etc and keep the elderly in touch with the outside world. My hunch would be that you didn't have it and need to be as cautious as everyone else. Wash your hands, keep a distance and stay safe. I'm sure you've been following all the government advice about social distancing - regardless of anything else - and all the developing advice about people with MS and DMT use.
