Fingolimod V Lymphocytes

Hey! Been on Fingolimod (Gilenya) for 3 years with no issues. Had a blood test last week - results in today and my lymphocytes are at 0.3. GP is concerned and contacting neuroscience. Anyone else had this? Will they make me stop the meds?

I don't know but I see the nurse on Tuesday for my own Gilenya review and if I can wangle it in the conversation, I will. xx

I saw the nurse today and asked about lymphocytes while taking fingolimod. Mine are 0.6, which she said was fine. I asked what the acceptable lowest level would be and she said that if a blood test shows 0.2 or below they would request another test a month later. She also said that this level was the hospital's protocol and that another institution might have different parameters. So on the face of it, perhaps your doc is being over-cautious?? In any case, it doesn't sound likely that they would take you off the drug based on one test.
