I am strong, i know i am, but i cant figh it alone. I just need someone to tell me: “its okay Nick, i got this, you can rest an take a break”. Even the strong ones need help sometimes and now i need help because im afraid to let go and rest. Help

Sounds like you know what you need…try to get away or to get away from your demands and give yourself a break. Any family or friends good for that? I have a couple of friends that I find particularly calming that I escape to when that is what I need. Find your safe harbor…ask them to help…

Unfortunatley i dont have any friends, not even 1. I have no one neer me. Not even 1 person to talk to. I have no family to talk to. I know ihave to take a rest but im afraid. No one teached me how to take it down. I even afraid to start, make the 1 step talking to a girl.

@nicu_macsim , individually we may be weak, but on this forum, together we can be strong. So, never feel alone.

And, don’t be your body’s own worst enemy. “Listen” to your body and work with it, not against it.

It is never a good feeling to feel alone & like there is no support around you. Even with all the support I can get from family & friends, sometimes I can feel completely distant/alone. That is why joining these forums is really great. When I have my off days (everyone does) I try and stick to yoga, meditation, walking by the water & trying to remain positive – oh & laughing a lot! lol It is easier said than done but it boosts your energy + makes you look at the good in the situation.

I exercise every day, smile when i have for what to smile for, i dont know how to meditate and ill love to breathe mountain air. Just to sit on a rock and admire the view and breathe the mountain air. But… I donthave a close mountain, i live in a small town, live alone in my 1 room apartament and have NO friends to talk to. But… ill be okay

Another member mentioned working through issues and others not understanding and I thought about the wonder video that Seb has put other there and what I’ve learned from them. I recommended #40 in particular to her but once I watched one I was compelled to go through his entire trove and am waiting for the one he has promised on yoga moves to help with MS. Im sorry you feel so alone you now have friends here on this site saying. hi nick im Lisa this last year i lost 2-3 friends due to ¿¿¿¿ i dont know but honestly if people are 2 faced losers i dont want around me !!! So your fine be your own best friend !!! Its the best thing Love self 👍💗💦or get a dog mans best friend

Hello @nicu_macsim. I don’t know how old you are or if you are working. I am sorry that you feel so alone. But, those of us with friends and family often feel alone too with this disease. It’s something that’s hard to explain. You could do something different, like learn a new language or something. As for your dream about sitting on a mountain and looking at a beautiful view; find a way to make it happen! Even if it takes 5 years and is a 3 day holiday, make up your mind that that is your goal. I’m happy that you are using Shift, because it is connecting you and helping you to see that your voice matters, and that your Shift friend’s care about you 💜
