Exercise
Hello everyone I would appreciate some tips/advice.. for 2025 I’ve been wanting to start exercising for my health and maybe even losing a few pounds. I love jump roping but stopped doing it in fear of worsening my legs. I’m thinking maybe going on daily walks and maybe some yoga. I just hate how there’s a limit to walking since my leg will eventually become stiff/need to be dragged and end up tripping on my own feet. I stopped exercising in fear of worsening my MS and I hate it 😭Can it really worsen from forcing my legs? Or is it just my fear??
Hi I felt the same i swan, boxcersised, and done a boot camp all in a week to nothing. , I have a recumbent bike at first my legs were sorer after 5 mins, but now I do 10-20 mins every day depending how I’m feeling. It definitely helps. I feel the difference if I haven’t done it. Good luck x
I wish I could walk properly, it would really help with exercise. I am doing aqua aerobics and spin classes which are easier on my legs. There are lots of good chair workouts online as well. know people swear by yoga & pilates too. I’m no expert but I think any movement is good , so long as you are careful.
