I only opt for prednisolone steroid if I'm having a heavy relapse/flare-up and I just cannot handle the pain, probably once every few years. Frequent steroid use can cause osteoporosis, so I'd rather not take it if I can avoid it.
Only when I have a flare, I haven’t had one since 2021
