Recently diagnosed

Hi, im new here. I was diagnosed beginning of March and I have my appointment with the MS nurse on 1st May. I’ve been given 4 DMT options to choose from. I think I’m going to go with Ocrevus, which I’ve read is an infusion and can be an injection. I’ve been sent the injection leaflet to read. It says inside you and your Ms nurse have decided on injection which we haven’t because I haven’t seen her yet. I was just wondering if you knew if one was better than the other? I thought I would be having an infusion and not sure I want an injection. Thank you for any advice.

I’ve only had the infusion but havnt heard any negitives about the injection. I’m he infusion only downside is it takes hours so be sure to hsvr some entertainment and snacks if they don’t feed you. Mine offers a lunch and drinks so just need entertainment and listen to audio dramas (basically a tv show without the tv) has people voice acting the rolls and all the background noises just o visuals as is in podcast formate

That’s what I’m on! My biggest issue is the price, but that’s why I have great insurance (Athena) and I’ve been on it since 2018 when I was 22 and I haven’t had an attack since!
