Hi all, I'm on the West Coast of the US and have had a terrible experience with my MS specialist. He has amazing qualifications and appears great on paper, but has a terrible bedside manner, is very cold and doesn't seem to care at all. I'm struggling to find a new MS specialist who actually cares about patients. Many of these doctors have good reviews online, including the one I saw. So it is very confusing and difficult to tell which ones are actually really great in person. And some MS centers told me that they do not allow transfer of care to other doctors in the practice, so you are stuck with whoever you see first, even if you don't like them. Does anyone have any recommendations for doctors in CA, preferably in the SF Bay Area region? Thank you for your help.
