Preparing For the Future

Hello all! Need some advice and thoughts. My recently diagnosed partner (RRMS) mentions how MS can possibly affect him in the future for travel/life things and how I should prepare for a life of limitations. I am aware of what can come and prepare to support and have limitations. However, I believe he thinks I would stop my life or should. Is this something others experience or expect from their partner? To not travel and do things in their lives? I would think if the shoe was on the other foot, I would want my partner to be happy and live out their lives despite limitation but still love when I’m around. FYI I rarely travel, maybe like twice a year at most. Thank you
@RC83

If his diagnosis was soon after onset and he gets on a drug soone after diagnosis and hes fit and mobile now then if it's rrms I think it's unlikely it will affect him too much in that respect especially in the next decade or too so you shouldn't have too many problems.

@RC83 thank you for your comment! He is mobile and it’s mainly in his hand with a combo of possible carpal tunnel. He went on meds quickly within the first month of diagnosis. It has affected his mental health /depression where he feels he has given up on life and is already thinking he will end up disabled. I just try my best to be as supportive as I can be!
