I am trying to find a way from my service dog to be able smell a relapse coming

I was thinking maybe if I had sample of saliva from 2017 relapse. I wasn't think of that then and I hope I don't have another. Then how the get the smell training for my service dog?

Interesting! I am thinking the bio makers would be very limited in saliva etc for relapses. On top of that, the training would take a lot of reinforcement. I’m not sure it is possible with ms, but interested to hear other perspectives.

I would contact the organization your service dog came from to see if they could train dogs to do this. If dogs can be trained to detect cancers, diabetes and Parkinson's disease, why not MS and relapses? Sure would be preferable to a lumbar puncture!
