Barometric pressure induced ANXIETY ATTACKS?
My official diagnosis of RRMS was about 2 years ago but I’ve been having symptoms and been misdiagnosed for years.
The latest thing that’s been happening is crippling anxiety attack. They are mainly at night- as I have an irrational fear of dying in my sleep, and lately if there is a major weather change- like a storm brewing - it triggers anxiety that mainly manifests in my throat, chest and stomach. It’s landed me in the ER a few times because I’ve been unable to get my heart rate and breathing in check.
Does anyone else experience these kind of anxiety attacks, particularly weather related?

I do. Mostly at night too when I’m trying to sleep and have time to think about things. It’s always about my ms. Witch the weather effects tremendously. When symptoms flare up I freak out. I’m scared of dying too. I went ahead and started taking medicine for it. It was the best thing I ever did. I feel my anxiety start to rise and then it stops before it gets out of control. I think it’s capped all my feelings though. I can’t cry anymore.
There is a link in my opinion as I've said on here a couple of times before.
