Bladder Incontinence

Ik this is very personal. Please only answer if you’re comfortable. Have you experienced urge incontinence with MS ? How do you manage your life around it ? I’ve never been pregnant and am 28. Is this normal ? It has made my life very difficult. I’m always on the lookout for toilets and use one even if I don’t need to, just to avoid any public embarrassment.

Yes and I am on Myrbetriq and have had a wonderful experience. I don't have to go even half as often and I can successfully hold my bladder now.

@toohotforms Incontinence pads. There are many available, I just had to get over myself and my inability to accept I now have to use pee pads. I asked myself the following: "How many more times am I going to wet myself before I do something about it?" We aren't the only ones who need them. I regularly commute into London, yes there are toilets on the trains but often these are out of order. I have now sorted out where all the toilets are on my journey and plan accordingly. If it's not a familiar trip, then I go prepared, pee pad in, spares in bag. No-one knows I use them, they aren't visible and they take away the stress of worrying if I am going to wet myself. Are you aware that you can get a Radar key, this will allow you access to most of the disabled toilets in and around the UK.
