MRI - annual MRI

Hi everyone! I live in West Yorkshire in England, and the nurse I will be transferring to says I won’t have an annual MRI - one of the reasons is that she has 700 people in the district and she is on her own. I’m a little confused as I thought people who were newly diagnosed with MS (diagnosed December 2024) had an annual MRI. I thought this was also needed to see progression and see if DMTs are working. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Yea that don’t make much sence. I was just diagnosed may 2024, had second mri a month ago and now get to wait a year to make sure my dmt is working well. This last mri showed some new stuff but looked old like was during my dead zone between may and august when o started ocrevus. You might need to look for a different doc that ainy ovrr whelmed and can actually care for you
