New here: what medications treat MS the best?
I was just diagnosed with MS and I am curious to know what medications, transfusions have worked the best for you?

@tarahb Tecfidera has been fantastic- it's a capsule that you take twice a day. Had a bad first year on Copaxone injections- it didn't stop my lesions and ended up with a severe case of Optic Neuritis. Went black blind and have been left with permanent damage to the vision in my right eye. Tecfidera though has prevented any further lesions for me. Not sure if it's a 'next level' medication or not- one that you get prescribed when your initial medication is ineffective.
"the best" depends on the patient as well as you need the best balance of efficacy and side effects. IMO the highest efficacy medications are Tysabri, Lemtrada and Ocrevus.
