Hi there. What a system to navigate. No mistake. I did not use an attorney. When I went to my hearing, I brought medical records, a letter from my neuro, primary care, psychiatrist, and rheumatologist. I also brought my mom, dad, sister, and daughter as my witnesses to the changes they had seen in me. Honesty, even if it makes you sad and/or cry. My judge was kind of way weenie at first until I asked him, "Your honor, with all due respect, do you have Multiple Sclerosis? Have you lost your career because of it? Life drastically changed? If not, please extend me some empathy and kindness. This is very difficult for me. All of this is stressful and hurts me because I never thought that one day I'd find out I'd have a disease for which there is no cure." He simmered down and things went very well. He said he appreciated the respectful way I made my point. Be you own best advocate.

@Spiffy thank you for replying to my message I know I I was just diagnosed in August I was first diagnosed with cidp because I have no feeling for my knees to my toes woke up one morning couldn't move they were tingling like they were asleep so neuropathy then my balance cidp and my feet both of them are dropped and I was a cashier at Kroger's and my hand started folding down so now I have three fingers on one hand and I think two on the other hand to work with then they just diagnosed me with a mess in August because they saw lesions on my brain and spinal cord I said what is that so they explained trying to get me to do the Ocrevus infusion but that's all my neurologist is done for me he hasn't put me on steroids my Energy's gone no B12 infusions no stem cell nothing he doesn't even prescribe my Gabapentin my PCP has to that's weird. How fast were you approved I don't think I have the strength face a judge like that you're very brave and I can't also collect all these records it's insane I just had my right kidney removed I had a malignant a renal Mass and they just took the whole thing up and I have that on top of my MS and fibromyalgia and chronic back etc etc LOL I'm only 51 years old at five children I live in Texas where are you from?
