Pity party

Having a pity party is ok short term but to sit into too long can be detrimental to your health. It causes anxiety, stress and depression which we all know to well is not good with MS. Your body goes into fight or flight and inflammation overload. You are your biggest warrior fight with your resources and knowledge you have access to. Journaling can help to get your feelings out there and leave it in the pages. Everyone in my family is battling some type of health issues so I don't overwhelm them with my problems I go within and figure it out. I know that if I can't handle it I have my resources which include my life coach/spiritual therapist and many books to help me whether that's through healing my mind, body or soul. This journey has taught me how truly resilient I am and I don't surround myself by negativity whether it's the news or people in my life, not because I don't care but I care too much and that can be detrimental to my equilibrium. Compassion, empathy, love for self will be your biggest helper in this journey. Love & peace to all you are stronger then you even realize
